An artificial intelligence (AI) reader is an assistive technology device designed to help individuals who are blind, visually impaired, or have reading difficulties. It consists of a small camera that attaches to eyeglasses or can be handheld, and it is capable of recognizing and interpreting text, objects, faces, and even barcodes.

Using advanced algorithms, AI readers can read text aloud in real-time, enabling users to access printed materials such as books, newspapers, menus, and signs. It can also recognize and identify faces of people in the user's surroundings, as well as products by scanning their barcodes.

This technology empowers individuals with visual impairments to gain more independence in various daily activities, including reading, shopping, and social interactions.
